I believe in the healing power of intentional music.
I define my music less by it’s sound, and more by it’s intention.
I write music to heal and uplift myself.
The songs I write are healing tools which come into being through a process. It starts with reminding myself of all that I’m grateful for, and giving thanks and appreciation for all the beauty of this world.
I believe that healing is coming into a place of greater gratitude,
that feeling better is about feeling grateful.
The purpose of singing my songs is to lift me to a state of gratitude and compassion.
I believe in the power of that. In that way they’re like love songs to everyone, like thank you notes to the world for existing just as it is. They are an expression of wishing everyone well, healthy, and blessed.
Listening to my music is witnessing my healing.
May witnessing my healing inspire healing.
May witnessing my gratitude inspire gratitude.
May witnessing my creation inspire creation.
I am grateful for the healing and wonder I feel in nature, the immense love for my family and community, for having fresh food and clean water, and for the endless depth of the human experience. Love and Praises to the ancestors and future ancients, forces seen and unseen, to all benevolent beings, allies, guides, plants, and animals… and especially to Mother Earth ~ for providing everything we need.
